The Style Social: Building The Buzz

The Style Social was a brand-new fashion event hosted at Warehouse 18 in Hickory, NC. With no history, no audience, and no name recognition, we had to build the buzz completely from scratch.

My role was simple: make people care. Through a series of promotional materials and a simple marketing strategy, I turned a brand-new idea into something people wanted to be part of.

Fashion Show Campaign Results

By the time we’d secured a venue for the event, I only had 10 weeks to generate hype and sell tickets to a new event. Focussing purely on Catawba County, and with only $40 in ad spend, Studio Raconteur generated:

  • 57,000+ social media views across Instagram and Facebook (94% organic)
  • 2,200+ interactions
  • 867 website sessions
  • 70+ tickets sold.
  • $5,000 in revenue through tickets and sponsorships.
